Protecting what's Normal.

A lot of people protect what is Normal to them instead of what is morally right. Take for example the former Confederacy ( The South ). Now, when the Confederates split from the United States, they did so to keep their free labor ( Slavery ). They did not keep slavery because it was the right thing to do, but because it was Normal in the south. The Far-Right Religious base attacks Gay people because they are so used to a man and a woman being married, and because "God" says that its wrong. If being Gay was normal, people would attack Straight people. Not because its right or wrong, but because it isn't normal. I think people need to judge things, and step back from everything that is happening and see where everything lies. People were not born with shackles, So why do some people say that black people were created to be slaves by "God"?
New studies show that some peoples' minds are oriented to like or dis-like the other sex, and like or dis-like the same sex. People protect what's normal because they are too gripped by fear to let in anything different.

The War Economy

The G.O.P is thriving economically right now, even though we are in a recession. Big Businesses tied to the war are making billions of dollars while the normal american is scraping by. Its The War Economy, and its why the Republicans are still pushing for the war to continue. It kinda goes like this

The G.O.P's major lobbies and businesses thrive from the War, as they either make materials for the army, or the current situation in iraq/afghanistan benefits them in some way. Now, the G.O.P cannot reveal this, as it would blow the "War on Terror" cover. So, the G.O.P markets situations that are happening on the ground in order to make the war continue. Not to mention Oil, which has skyrocketed. I wish the Republicans would care about America's economy instead of their own personal gain... for once.

I post twice daily/ I saw "The Dark Knight"

I Post twice daily, which means I post double the amount of material some other blogs post.
I Went to go see "The Dark Knight" on Sunday with a friend, and It was pretty awesome. Heath Ledger gives the performance of a lifetime, literally. Christian Bale was very good as Batman/Bruce Wayne, although his Batman voice sounded like iron scraping against his vocal chords. Michael Caine, Morgan Freeman, Aaron Eckhart, and the rest of the supporting cast are very good as well. Unlike the rest of the theater ( Which was full to the brim. We had trouble finding seats ), I found the Joker to be quite hysterical. Maybe its just me being insane. At times I forgot that it was Ledger just playing a role. The only big issue I had with the movie was ledger himself. You cannot top that kind of performance, and It would have been nice for him to portray the Joker again in a sequel.

The Iraq-Iran-Afghanistan-Pakistan Border

John McCain said on GMA ( Good Morning America ) yesterday that democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama wanted to "attack" pakistan. Obama has made no such remarks, and even went to Pakistan this week in order to talk with officials. But McCain made another, more humorous remark about the "Iraq-Pakistan Border". Of course, Iraq is a good deal away from Pakistan, throwing out any notion of a "border".... Unless Iran and Afghanistan become some kind of buffer region due to some horrible war. Maybe McCain had a freudian slip.

Make your Sandwiches better, Gov. Bush.

So, the Government in Iraq supports Sen. Barack Obama's plan for a time table. Seems like this whole "liberators" thing has backfired for the G.O.P and Gov. Bush. After having to send in a whole army, destroying a government, and having to lose over 4,000 troops in combat, the instated government says that we shouldn't even be there in the first place.

The Iraq Sandwich you have made, Gov. Bush, wasn't that good at all. And I call him Gov. Bush because that's the only office he's legally won.
